The British rock band The Darkness have partnered with the Augmented Reality (AR) platform Aurasma to create an app made especially for their latest album, Hot Cakes, with an AR feature to bring the album to life. Fans who hold their smartphones over any album artwork, posters, photos etc. will be able to see and access hidden interactive content. Other features of the app include access to band news, Tweets, alerts for new videos, links to show tickets and integration with Instagram.
