The London Evening Standard has launched a paid-for website targeting small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and the South East. Evening Standard Business Connections features exclusive content from business writers, as well as relevant features taken from London Evening Standard and the Small Talk section of sister title The Independent. Content is currently free to view, but a £40 annual membership fee will be put in place within the next two weeks once the site has built up momentum. Visitors will be able to read the first 100 words before being asked to log in or register.
